We bought our first cat in 2005. His name is Bob, a stubborn European shorthair. In 2007 we bought a beautiful British shorthair Akira from Michael and Inge Bomhoff. In 2008 we unexpectedly got another female cat. Her name is Caya, again a British shorthair from Michael and Inge.

We are very pleased with our six cats. Bob is the real king. He is nicknamed King Bob and he’s a real boss. He prefers sitting on his throne in front of the mailbox at the front door. Our son has put down boxes abreast of the mailbox so that 'Sir' can look outside.

Akira is a real lady and has the habit of meowing loud when she doesn’t get her way. She is a calm cat with a stubborn nature. She prefers to sit on top of the scratching pole so she can see everything.

Caya is the rascal of the bunch. She enjoys playing with a rod with a mouse attached to it and with the toys from the scratching pole. Also everything that comes near her like keys, pens and shoes laces.

Because we find Akira a beautiful cat we decided to take a litter. We have crossed Akira by Keiko from Cattery Wakayama. In November 2008 she gave birth to her first litter of kittens. The first litter consisted two males and two females. Because we didn’t have a blotched cat we kept one of the kittens. Her name is Anne and she is a very sweet blotched cat. She prefers to play and sleep together in one basket with Caya
.
In February 2009 we went to England to get a Red Silver Classic cat, her name is Lauchen Yan. Lauchen Yan is a real cuddly cat. She likes to sit on your lap.

In July we got a Cinnamon cat. Her name is Saphira, and she’s really a little small rocket. Saphira has got a very sweet and loud meow, if she doesn’t get her food quick enough. She’s not afraid of our other cats. Because we loved Akiras litter so much, we hope the other cats can also have litters once in a while.
